Service Technician Wanted

Lindstrom Equipment, a local growing agricultural equipment dealer, is looking for a service technician. The qualified candidate must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, climb, bend, sit and stand for extended periods of time. Experience in agricultural service, repair and/or mechanical degree preferred. A clean driving record, good communication and computer skills is also a must. Heavy Equipment Technician

Lindstrom Equipment, is a well-established, family-run shop that is looking for top-notch Heavy Equipment Technicians to join our team. Serving the greater Mondovi and Menomonie areas for over 50 years, we have become a staple in our community for agricultural service and repair needs.

Responsibilities
We service and repair such equipment as Fendt, Claas, JCB, Gehl, Great Plains, and Massey Ferguson. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

· Conducting equipment and preventative maintenance inspections

· Diagnosing and repairing equipment

· Utilize special tools such as welding torches, hoists, jacks and hand tools

· Attend trainings

· Maintain and clean work area

· Complete all required paperwork necessary for each job

· Assist service manager and other technicians when needed

· Accounts for time and materials used in performing duties

Qualifications

Successful candidates for the Heavy Equipment Technician position will have:

· Experience in the agricultural industry/Mechanical degree preferred

· Ability to lift 70 pounds or more

· Climb, bend, sit or stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to be a self-starter

· Troubleshooting skills

· Computer skills

· Commitment to quality

· Personal set of tools

Agriculture Equipment Online Merchant at Mondovi, WI

Analyze and assess the agricultural market in US, China and Ukraine to expand company’s online store presence:

·      Research and identify products to source from abroad;

·      Determine prices and purchase volume of imported products, and calculate combined costs;

·      Collect data and analyze competition;

·      Identify, evaluate, select, and negotiate with foreign vendors;

·      Compile data on compliance/liability issues for vendor substitution and imports, and report findings to management;

·      Prepare and maintain a quarterly analysis on consumer behavioral patterns to monitor buying habits and potential factors affecting product demand.

Requirement:

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience that includes a Master’s Degree in Russia/Eastern European Studies, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; or a Bachelor’s Degree in the aforementioned fields, plus 5 years of progressive post-degree work experience.  Fluency in Russian and Chinese.
